LG not too pleased with Windows Phone 7 sales

In a recent interview with Pocket-lint, LG’s marketing strategy and planning team director, James Choi spoke his mind about Windows Phone 7. Apparently LG’s predicted sales of WP7 devices fell short of the target, and they weren’t too pleased about it. He felt that the reason WP7 devices didn’t sell so well was because it was too easy to use that it was boring. But LG aren’t about to give up on Microsoft’s operating system yet citing their only reason being the lack of alternatives to another operating system as they didn’t have their own OS and didn’t want to solely rely on Android. But with LG doing pretty well with their Android phones it shouldn’t be a problem. Our sister site Ubergizmo reviewed a couple of WP7 devices and we think that the operating system is anything but boring. Sure it may be simple, but it is fully-functional and it gave us a much needed breakaway from the hordes of similar looking operating systems out there. As a consumer, what do you think of Windows Phone 7?
