PNY brags about their microSD cards being Windows Phone 7-compatible

It’s been awhile since we’ve had any news about Windows Phone 7-compatible microSD cards, but PNY, a manufacturer of storage cards and drives etc have apparently jumped into the ball-game. At least that’s what their printed packaging would like us to think. “Now Compatible with Windows Phone 7 smartphones”, their packaging advertises. But with no word from Microsoft or manufacturers concerning the compatibility of microSD cards with WP7 devices, one must be wary of such advertising. It is uncertain if PNY cards are officially certified but from reports online it seems like the cards do work well with WP7 devices. So if you’re using a WP7 phone and you’re in search of a storage upgrade, you might want to give PNY cards a shot, but since Microsoft hasn’t announced anything, be prepared for the worst. How many of you WP7 users are using microSD cards that didn’t come with your phone?
