Dell ignoring customers about Venue Pro queries

Apparently Dell hasn’t been replying to customer enquires about the status updates for their Dell Venue Pro phones. Customers have been trying to contact Dell through their #dellvenuepro Twitter stream and official Dell support forums but haven’t been given any replies. Even phone calls to Dell Customer Care haven’t been fruitful, and customers who have devices estimated to be delivered in the next few days have no indication whether their devices have been shipped. We know that Dell is a reputable company and wouldn’t be capable of pulling off such a scam, but ignoring their customers isn’t going to earn them any points from the consumers desperate to get in touch with them. It makes the Dell appear as shady as Notion Ink. Hopefully Dell has a good reason for the delay and secrecy about the phone shipments. Perhaps the phones are undergoing some changes to their hardware to fix the problems that plagued the earlier models? We’ll keep you posted if we learn anything new.
