Windows Phone 7 developers complain about marketplace payments and stats

It looks like not all is rosy and well on the Windows Phone 7 side of things. According to some developers, working with Windows Phone 7 isn’t as great as it ought to be. It’s impossible for them to find out how many apps they’ve sold, which means that they won’t know how much money Microsoft owes them as well. And to add salt to their wounds, they don’t even know when their paychecks for their app sales will be arriving. Apparently Microsoft has stated that no developer payout would happen until 2011. Sounds like some pretty bad news for Microsoft developers, and would-be developers for WP7. If Microsoft doesn’t get their act together for the developer side of things, it could spell disaster for the month-old mobile operating system. After all, who would want to develop for a company that couldn’t pay you on time?
