Windows Embedded Automotive 7 will make driving safer

Microsoft has just announced that they are working on Windows Embedded Automotive 7- an embedded version of Windows in your car that can communicate with your WP7 phone. Using only voice commands, you can respond to texts and emails, and send out your own texts or emails. This technology will allow you to keep your hands on the wheel, eyes on the road, so you won’t lose any focus while driving. It’s quite an interesting use of technology, though the Microsoft Sam voice really needs to be replaced, it sounds much too archaic for my liking. Not to mention is pronunciation isn’t on par with today’s standards. Watch a video demonstration of it in action after the break:
