Besides selling you cheap groceries, household products, CDs and books, Walmart has been known to offer some great deals for mobile phones. A recent check out of the mart unveiled two new Android gems from T-Mobile. The LG Optimus T that usually costs $30 is now going for less than a dollar at Walmart. The Motorola DEFY that normally costs you $100 is going for only $48.88. Of course you’ll need to sign a 2-year contract with T-Mobile, but if you were planning on buying those phones from T-Mobile in the first place it’s good to know you don’t have to fork out so much upfront. The good thing about this deal is that it is for new and qualifying upgrading customers. Meaning that if you’ve got a contract that’s about to expire, you can choose to upgrade to this plan and get a new phone in the process instead of having to sign a new contract. Let’s wait and see if Walmart decides to give deals from other carriers in the future. Have you ever bought a phone from Walmart before?
