Verizon excited to launch Windows Phone 7 devices

Despite being left out of the Windows Phone 7 launch, it appears that Verizon has no problems about joining the party late. In a response to a question about when WP7 phones would be on their network, the Big Red carrier responded to the tweet with “As soon as Microsoft has ‘em ready, we’re excited to offer Windows 7 mobile devices.” With the Kin re-launching on their network, and their previous deal to include Bing search on all their smartphones, it appears like Verizon and Microsoft have been getting along famously. It’s going to be interesting to see how things play out, considering Verizon will be getting the iPhone next year- making them the only carrier with iOS, Android, WP7 and webOS devices. Are you waiting for a Verizon WP7 phone?
