New Sony Ericsson Xperia Windows Phone 7 phones leaked

Some slides of two upcoming Sony Ericsson phones have leaked online. Released for the Xperia family, it seems that these phones won’t be running Android like most of the other Xperia handsets. Instead, the devices named X7 and X7 Mini will be running – you guessed it, the Windows Phone 7 operating system. With specs that will ensure the phones stay relevant in 2011, the X7 and X7 Mini look pretty solid. The X7 will feature a 1.2GHz processor (rumored to be dual-core), a massive 4.3” 480 x 800 touchscreen, an 8.1 megapixel camera, and get this- HDMI output, something that all WP7 phones don’t have at the moment. The X7 Mini is like a smaller version of the X7 with different specs: 1GHz processor, 3.5” 480 x 800 touchscreen, a 10.1 megapixel camera with 3X optical zoom (not very common in camera phones) and Xenon flash, and comes with a pair of noise cancellation headphones. If the slides turn out to be true, it looks like Sony Ericsson could be a serious contender with WP7 phones- provided that they release them before they are outdated (X10, X10 Mini, X8- we’re looking at you). What do you think of these 2 phones? Are you interested enough to think about getting your hands on them? Watch a video containing the slides after the break.
