Motorola Flipside and Bravo arrive at Costco as dummies

No, the Motorola Flipside and Bravo are not dumb phones in any sense, although they’re now available at Costco as dummy units thanks to a leaked photo by Android Central. These two mid-range Android-powered smartphones were announced last month, and are tipped to hit the markets by the time the holiday season rolls around. Since the dummy units are here, it goes without saying that Costco is priming themselves to start selling both handsets, and we will look at the Motorola Flipside first that boasts a 3.1-inch HVGA (320 × 480) touchscreen display, a 4-row QWERTY keyboard, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS navigation, a 3-megapixel camera, and a microSD memory card slot. You can bring one home with a 2-year AT&T contract for $99.99.

As for the Motorola Bravo which is slightly higher end, it will have a larger 3.7-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) multi-touch display, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS navigation support, an 800MHz TI OMAP 3610 processor, 2GB ROM and a microSD memory card slot to boot. For 2-years’ worth of contract, you will have to fork out just $129.99 for the Bravo. Any takers?
