After being available for purchase online, the Droid 2 Global on Verizon has started shipping out to its customers. The phone is an updated Droid 2 with a faster processor, improved keyboard, FroYo and global roaming capabilities. The Droid 2 Global looks immaculate in white, and comes ready to rock right out of the box. It comes with the SIM card included and pre-installed, a bunch of international chargers, an 8GB microSD card, Virtual Private Networking built-in, and a SIM Manager pre-installed. It’s as if you can pick this phone up just before you leave for the airport and not have to worry about being able to contact people when you leave the country.
