Microsoft hiring psychologists and graphic designers to create new Windows Phone 7 features

If you’re a graphic designer or psychologist looking for a breakthrough in the mobile industry, today might be your lucky day. In a series of job posts from Microsoft, they have been looking for Design Program Managers, visual Designers, User Experience Designers and User Experience Researchers to join their Mobile Experience Team. The purpose of the team would be to extend and evolve the functionality, look and feel of the Windows Phones interface and find new ways to connect with their consumers. While this shows that Microsoft are really committed to bringing a great experience to Windows Phone 7 users- they don’t want coders who just implement new functions- they also want designers to make sure that the features fit in with the look and feel of WP7. Hopefully this won’t mean that new features will take a longer time to implement because Microsoft can’t afford to be play catch-up in the highly competitive smartphone industry. Are any of you keen on joining Microsoft’s Mobile Experience Team?
