Michael Dell: It’s easier to develop software for Windows Phone 7 than Android

Microsoft seems to have gotten it right with WP7, by providing functional, easy-to-use tools to developers to create apps for their phone. In a recent conference in Hong Kong, Michael Dell mentioned that from feedback he received from developers, Windows Phone 7 is easier to develop for as opposed to Android. This bodes well for Microsoft as they were in the mobile phone slumps before the release of Windows Phone 7. The positive response they’ve been getting so far, despite the minor complaints about the operating system is a sign of good things to come, though Microsoft will need to listen to the wants and needs of their consumer if they hope to maintain the momentum they’ve put into the phone’s release.
