iPad production rate increased

According to Digitimes, Foxconn has increased the production rate of the iPad. They have opened up 50 extra production lines for the iPad in its new factories to match the demand for iPads all over the world. Apple seems to have changed their strategy for marketing the iPad. Initially placed as a luxury item, the iPad is now something that Apple thinks everybody should have, and at the rate factories are churning out these tablets, it’s hard to see it not happening. With the holiday season right around the corner, you can expect these devices to fly off the shelves, especially after seeing how kids aged 6-12 would rather have one instead of a gaming console. What do you think of the iPad? Will you be purchasing one for yourself or anybody this Christmas?
