HTC Trophy to show up on Verizon

We know that Verizon will be offering Windows Phone 7 devices on their networks sometime soon, but prior to today; we had no clue to what devices they will be getting. According to a flyer meant for Microsoft employees, that surfaced online, we now know at least one device we’ll be seeing on Big Red- the HTC Trophy. This mid-level WP7 device from HTC will be available in early 2011 for only $199.99. What sets it apart from its GSM counterpart is the fact that Verizon’s version will be a quad band global phone, meaning you’ll be able to use it in countries out of the US as well. In addition to getting the phone, Microsoft employees will also be receiving a free accessory bundle that includes a leather case and vehicle power charger when they purchase the HTC Trophy. One of the perks of being a Microsoft employee, eh? The offer is only valid until December 31 and leads us to believe that we shall see the phone sometime in January next year. If only deals like these existed for us regular folks.
