HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 Suffers From Death Grip

Published

on

Like the iPhone 4 under Antennagate this summer, it seems that Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 device made by HTC known as the HTC HD7 also experiences the “death grip.” With the death grip, when a user holds the phone in such a way as to obscure or block the antenna(s), signal will drop off significantly and could result in a dropped call or data connection. Other WP7 devices, such as the AT&T Samsung Focus, which also runs on Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 operating system, do not suffer from the death grip.

The death grip occurs when a user squeezes and hold the phone too tight.
