Google Search app available on Windows Phone 7 now

With the availability of Bing on Android for awhile now, we knew it’s only a matter of time before Google showed up to the Windows Phone 7 party. And it appears that today is the day. It features suggestions as you type, and uses your phone’s location to add geo-awareness to your search results. Although it doesn’t have Google Instant which was implemented in iOS and Android recently, expect it to arrive in an update soon. Google search is now available as a free download, on the Windows Marketplace. Too bad you can’t bind it to the search button on your phone, although you can pin it to your home screen. How many of you prefer to search with Google instead of Bing?
