Deutsche Telekom very satisfied with Windows Phone 7 sales

Earlier this month, Deutsche Telekom was blaming T-Mobile’s lackluster performance last quarter because of the lack of iPhones. It seems like they have found the solution to the problem. Today, Microsoft posted a statement on their German website citing Deutsche Telekom praising Windows Phone 7 for exceeding expectations and is very satisfied with initial sales of Microsoft’s new platform. Now since we haven’t gotten any official sales figures for Windows Phone 7 devices yet, we don’t know exactly what constitutes as very satisfying. If they set a low number i.e. 1000 and exceeded it with something high like 10,000- it would’ve greatly exceeded expectations, though 10,000 isn’t exactly what you would call impressive for something as hyped up as Windows Phone 7. But since it satisfies the telco company, we can expect them to be securing more WP7 devices in the future to boost their sales. After all, if you don’t have the iPhone on your network and you already have Android phones- it’s the next best thing right? If you have a WP7 phone on T-Mobile, let us know how satisfied you are with it.
