Angry Birds not coming to Windows Phone 7 this Christmas

It looks like Windows Phone 7 users won’t be able to celebrate Christmas this year by flinging birds at pigs. Angry Birds developer, Rovio, have announced that the ultra-popular hit game won’t be gracing Windows Phone 7 with its presence this year. Citing it “takes a lot of work to do”, Rovio will need a some more time before they bring the game to Microsoft’s latest mobile platform. This is quite surprising, seeing how WP7 development tools are supposedly easy to use. Maybe it takes more time to develop a game that would work on WP7 and Xbox Live Arcade. Hopefully there aren’t too many disappointed Angry Birds fans this winter. Personally, I think that everybody should be out enjoying the cold winter air outdoors instead- tossing snow balls at friends sounds more fun than virtual birds at virtual pigs anyway! Who’s disappointed with today’s Angry Birds news?
