There is nothing quite like building on an old success, don’t you think so? It was not too long ago that the YU Yuphoria was released, and this mid-range device did seem to be a pretty good value for money proposition. Well, this time around it looks like the Indian firm has a successor in the works, or perhaps an enhanced edition. It will forgo the original Yuphoria’s model number of YU5010, as this new device spotted on the GFXBench database will be designated as the Yuphoria YU6000.
In terms of hardware specifications, it will be powered by a MediaTek MT6753 chipset with a 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T720 GPU, accompanied by a 4.6” 1080p touchscreen, carry an 8MP selfie camera, a 12MP or 13 MP rear camera, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory. No word on a possible release date just yet.
