Well, there might be plenty of fanfare that surrounds Google’s recently introduced LG Nexus 5X, but here we are with yet another device that might just keep you interested – the Huawei Honor 5X. Of course, nothing official has been confirmed just yet, but apparently, a device that comes in a metal chassis has gained its TENAA certification, where it will feature the model number KIW-AL10 to boot. In other words, this might be the Huawei Honor 5X which should succeed the Huawei Honor 4X that was rolled out earlier this year.

The KIW-AL10 will feature a 5.5” display that boasts of a Full HD resolution, alongside a pixel density of 401ppi. The Snapdragon 615 SoC will power the device from underneath the hood, where it boasts of an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 405 GPU. Keeping it company would be 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, where there is a 13MP camera located behind as well as a 5MP camera right in front. Throw in a fingerprint scanner while Huawei is at it, why don’t they? Expect it to arrive with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop right out of the box, and based on its AnTuTu benchmark, the score of 20916 places it squarely in the mid-range scheme of things.
