HTC One A9 Spotted In Benchmark

Better late than never, and with the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus’ debut a couple of days ago, it makes perfect sense to ensure that other manufacturers too, will deliver their own flagship to the market soon. HTC might not be at the kind of heights in which it was before, but this does not mean that the Taiwanese firm is out of the smartphone race. In fact, a prototype of the HTC One A9 has already had its benchmark run on Geekbench, where it came off with a more than decent 5,884 score.

We do know from the benchmark that it will run on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, featuring 10 cores at its, well, core, with two of those being Cortex-A72 cores while the other remaining 8 cores happen to be of the Cortex-A53 variety, which has been divided into two different clusters in order to achieve maximum performance without draining away too much juice.

Expect up to 4GB RAM to be included in the chipset alongside LTE Cat.6 network compatibility.
