Gold Plated Galaxy Note 5 Seen

It does seem as though Hanoi is a hotbed for select rumors – and one of them would be gold plated models of upcoming or existing handsets. In fact, the Karalux Store has just unveiled the gold Galaxy Note 5 – in addition to the gold Galaxy S6 edge, where both of these handsets happen to hail from the Samsung family.

Apparently, the gold plating process was far from easy, as engineers had to take the handsets apart which is certainly no mean feat. Being made out of 7000 series aluminum that is 60% stronger and lighter than stainless steel, these metal parts proved to be quite a challenge to be removed before being gold plated. The entire gold plating process would cost approximately $355 per device, while if you would like to get a gold-plated device from them right from the get go, it will burn a $1100 hole in your bank account.
