UMI ZERO 2 Smartphone To Feature Dual Screens

Fancy picking up a handset that has not one, but two displays? Granted, in the era where flip phones ruled, two displays were commonplace. Not so in this day and age, and UMI of China has decided to relive the olden days, albeit with a slightly different twist since their upcoming ZERO 2 smartphone will not come in a clamshell form factor, but rather, that of a solid brick – albeit with an E Ink display on one side, and a rumored 5.2” Full HD display on the other.

A teaser image of the ZERO 2 has already appeared on UMI’s official Facebook page, where the E Ink screen is said to offer a better reading experience, at the same time consuming a minimal amount of juice – which is always good news for the handset’s battery. It will apparently come with a $500 price tag eventually (if rumors prove to be true), in addition to a MediaTek MT6752 mobile chipset, 3GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, an 8MP selfie shooter and a 13MP camera behind.
