OnePlus 2 Rumored To Arrive With Metal Case?

Are you looking forward to the official release of the OnePlus 2 later at the end of this month? While it has had its fair share of rumors hit the newswires in recent times, revealing juicy details such as a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, a dual camera setup, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, do take all of those with a grain of salt as nothing has been officially confirmed just yet. In fact, OnePlus CEO Liu Zuohu did share over his Weibo account that the OnePlus 2 will arrive with a metal case.

The original OnePlus One failed to come with any kind of metal on its body, as it arrived in the form of a polycarbonate body in addition to having Silk White and Sandstone Black back cover options. Perhaps this full metal jacket will be able to add some more class to the device – but hopefully not interfere with its communications capabilities. All will be known this July 22nd as the device rolls out officially!
