Sony Xperia J1 Compact Is First SIM-Free Phone From Sony In Japan

The first walk, the first date, the first kiss, there are always many memorable firsts in one’s life. You can also say the same when it comes to that of hardware and other mobile devices. For instance, the Sony Xperia J1 Compact (also known as the D5788 where its model number is concerned) over in Japan happens to be the company’s first SIM-free smartphone in that part of the world.

In terms of its hardware specifications, the Sony Xperia J1 Compact will run on a quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with Adreno 330 graphics, accompanied by 2GB RAM, a 4.3″ 720p display, a 20.7MP Exmor RS camera, a 2,300mAh battery, and an IP68-certified chassis.
