Microsoft Lumia 532 Is Windows 10 Ready

The new Lumia 532 from Microsoft which was announced just last week is definitely an entry level Windows Phone 8.1 handset that is worth looking into, especially when it is about to be launched to the masses later this February. However, what bodes for the future of the Lumia 532 in terms of its software operating system version? It seems that a quick search over on Bing, as you can see in the screen capture above, points out that the Lumia 532 will be “Windows 10 ready.”

Right now, such metadata is not visible on the product page of the Lumia 532 itself, and the full excerpt of what Microsoft is saying about the Lumia 532 reads like this, “Windows 10 ready, the Lumia 532 smartphone is capable of running mobile games with its Snapdragon processor. Skype, OneDrive, Office and more.”

Needless to say, it will take some time before the Lumia 532 will actually get an update to the Windows 10 platform, since Microsoft has penciled plans to roll out the new operating system sometime later this summer or in early autumn. However, a search on the less powerful Lumia 435 does not yield such similar results, but fret not – Microsoft has plans to update all models of their Windows Phone 8-powered Lumia handsets to Windows 10 when the time is right.
