Exynos 7420 Chipset Gets Benchmarked

I am quite sure that many of us are looking forward to the brand new flagship smartphone from Samsung, and that would be the Galaxy S6. However, not much is known about it, while an alleged Samsung Galaxy S6 prototype has been spotted on the Geekbench site, where it runs on an Exynos 7420 chipset.

This Exynos 7420 chipset managed to rack up a single-core score of 1,520, while the multi-core score hit a respectable 5,478. Do take these figures with the proverbial pinch of salt, however, since it will take some time before the actual device rolls out, and by then, various assumed tweaks done by Samsung would most probably see a bump in the performance scores .

Interestingly enough, this handset has been listed down to carry 3GB RAM instead of 4GB – which is what many would have expected of it. Ah well, patience will reveal all in due time.
