Samsung Galaxy U Line To Reach The End Of The Road Soon

It is not a surprise to hear that the folks over at Samsung do roll out plenty of phones – so much so that there seems to be a little bit of something for everyone. It does not matter whether you are on the lookout for an entry level handset, or want a mid-range phone, or perhaps are even looking for a high end model, Samsung has it all. However, there are times when a company would need to know how to cut its losses, which is why we have heard on the grapevine that Samsung intends to cease development of its Samsung Galaxy U series of smartphones.

SamMobile claims that Samsung has already stopped development of the Galaxy U range, but they did not reveal a reason behind this move. Speculation has it that it could very well be a delay and nothing else, so that Samsung is able to focus on the launch of the upcoming flagship, which would be the Samsung Galaxy S6. In fact, the Galaxy S6 is touted to offer something new right from the get go, making it a major departure from the other Galaxy S series of handsets. What do you think?

Perhaps it is a case of just repositioning their assets to make sure that every single device will roll in the money for the South Korean conglomerate, and if that means chopping off some limbs of the tree, so be it.
