Verizon Ellipsis 8 Tablet In The Works

Verizon might be a mobile carrier in their very own right, but this does not mean that they do not have any vested interest in rolling out hardware of their own. No sir, we do know that Verizon did offer their very own tablet that was branded as the Ellipsis 7 last year, and based on the number of the model alone, this proved to be a decent 7” model, although it will never see massive sales figures, that is for sure. Word has it that Verizon is looking to roll out a sequel to the Ellipsis 7 tablet, where it will most probably be known as the Ellipsis 8 – and with that, it would translate to an 8” tablet.

There have been some whispers concerning this unique tablet’s appearance and its hardware specifications, where it looks set to come with a $249.99 price point, alongside an 8” display at 1280 x 800 resolution, which is a similar resolution count as the former – which means the pixel density would have dropped then. Apart from that, there will be a 5,000mAh battery that keeps it going, accompanied by a 5MP shooter on board, and a quad-core 1.5GHz processor that keeps the tablet going. It ought to launch in time for the holiday season though.
