Nokia N1 Android-Powered Tablet Announced

Nokia has been more or less well known for their Windows Phone devices in the past couple of years, but it seems that after being purchased by Microsoft, they have more or less come to the end of the road where smartphones are concerned. Well, what you see above here is the newly announced Nokia N1, an Android 5.0 Lollipop powered tablet.

It boasts a simplicity in design, and is the first Android-powered Nokia brand-licensed device – hopefully it will not be the last. Tipped to hit the China market first in the first quarter of next year with a recommended retail price of $249, this special one-piece aluminum design with a soft finish will arrive in both Lava Grey and Natural Aluminum colors. It will also sport a 7.9″ laminated display which resides in a chassis that is 6.9mm thin, running on a quad-core 2.4GHz Intel Atom processor. Any takers? [Press Release]
