HTC Intends To Expand Desire Range Further In The U.S.

HTC recently announced that they fully intend to roll out the 2014 HTC Desire series in the U.S., and do take note that those who are subscribers of AT&T would have been able to bring home the HTC Desire 610 since last month in the U.S., where one would also have been able to pick up that very same handset straight from HTC’s U.S. website.

AT&T did make available the handset for $0.99 which will be accompanied by a two-year contract, with the recommended retail price being slated at $199.99 – with a subsidy, of course. Other than the HTC Desire 610, there is also the HTC Desire 816 that is tipped to arrive on Virgin Mobile tomorrow with a $299 price tag, and as usual, there is also the option to pick up this smartphone straight from HTC themselves, whatever floats your boat.

The HTC Desire range would occupy the mid-range market, where it comes with large displays, albeit not of the highest resolution. [Press Release]
