Gmail, Gmail, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Google does look as though they are always on a constant quest to improve their products and services, and where Gmail is concerned, the same applies. In fact, the latest news concerning Gmail is this – Google has introduced support for 13 more languages inside, bringing the grand total up to 71.

This might not sound like much to some of us, but it is a well calculated move by the folks over at Google. After all, the 71 languages supported happen to cover up to 94% of the world’s Internet population, which means getting everyone to communicate with one another without any language barriers is slowly but surely being executed.

As for the 13 new languages that will be supported, they are Afrikaans, Armenian, Azerbaijani (Azeri), Chinese (Hong Kong), French (Canada), Galician, Georgian, Khmer, Lao, Mongolian, Nepali, Sinhala, and Zulu. [Press Release]
