Skype For Windows 8.1 Updated Once More

Published

Microsoft has done it yet again, by updating the Skype app for Windows 8.1 today that will see the inclusion of two tiny, albeit extremely handy features. It was a wee bit more than just a month ago that Microsoft introduced an update to this app, and it is nice for users to see the software giant show more commitment to rolling out new versions in a far faster manner than ever before.

The change log on the Windows Store page points to the new Skype for Windows 8.1 app being able to synchronize your favorite contacts across all of your devices. In plain English, this would mean that the favorites list ought to look and work the same should you be using Skype on your tablet, desktop PC or smartphone. Apart from that, if you were to scroll through those favorite contacts, alongside other recent conversations, it ought to take up a whole lot less of your time.
