ZTE Apollo 64-Bit Android Smartphone Rumored

Chinese media CNMO have brought whispers of ZTE working on a 64-bit Android smartphone, where this particular device has been given the codename Apollo. Apparently, the ZTE Apollo will be based on one of Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 808 and 810 CPUs, although we will not rule out the likes of the Snapdragon 410, 610, and 615, too. There has been nothing specific on what the exact model will be, although word has it that the ZTE Apollo will be a 64-bit smartphone.

Regardless, all of the options ought to be able to be a handset that is future-proof to a certain extent, despite sporting extremely different chipsets. For instance, the Snapdragon 410 and 610 happen to be quad-core models that will cater for low and mid-range devices, while the octa-core 1.8GHz Snapdragon 615 is quite a beast, with the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 and octa-core 810 being right at the high end side of things. Hopefully more information will be revealed in due time so that there need not be any more speculation.
