Being in the service industry can get pretty challenging at times – as customers always expect you to provide them with the very best level of service that their money can buy, and to keep the same smile plastered on your face a good 10 hours into your shift could prove to be quite a challenge. Sometimes, patience wears thin and common sense gets lost along the way. US Airways must have gone through that, after they tweeted an offensive image which was sexual in nature to a customer who complained about their service, with a message that read, “We welcome feedback, Elle. If your travel is complete, you can detail here for review and follow up.”

This image was retweeted for over 500 afterwards, taking nearly an hour before US Airways actually removed the tweet. Needless to say, an apology was forthcoming, and at least US Airways did that via another tweet, “We apologize for an inappropriate image recently shared as a link in one of our responses. We have removed the tweet and are investigating.”
