Vodafone UK To Offer Gold Galaxy S5 Exclusively

Vodafone UK is said to have started to receive pre-orders for the yet unreleased Samsung Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone from March 28th onwards, where they too, will be offering the gold version of the device on an exclusive basis to boot. Samsung has not officially revealed the pricing for the Samsung Galaxy S5 to date, but so far UK retailers have set the price of pre-orders for the smartphone at 699 Euros a pop.

Vodafone UK has also announced that they will be the only ones offering the gold colored Galaxy S5 exclusively in the UK, apart from the standard issue colors, of course. It would be an interesting case study to see how the gold colored version of this handset fares against the other colors available, and perhaps gold might prove to be a lucrative color to have in a smartphone manufacturer’s stable down the road for future models.
