[MWC 2014] ZTE has certainly kept themselves busy with the introduction of two more smartphones that will run on the Firefox OS – namely the ZTE Open C as well as the ZTE Open II. First of all, let us take a closer look at the ZTE Open C, where this particular device will arrive with a 3MP shooter at the back, a 4-inch display at 800 × 480 resolution, a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and a 1,400 mAh battery underneath the hood.

As for the ZTE Open II, this will be an even lower end device, where some might say it is going to scrap the bottom of the barrel already. Running on the Firefox OS as well, the ZTE Open II will feature a 2MP shooter, a 3.5” multitouch display at 480 × 320 resolution, a 1.2GHz MSM8210 processor, half the RAM of the ZTE Open C, and a similar reduction in its internal memory. These will be far from a flagship device, so do expect emerging markets to target either one to be a decent place when it comes to introducing oneself to the world of smartphones. [Press Release]
