Android 4.4.1 KitKat Update Could Be In The Pipeline

Published

The Android 4.4 KitKat mobile operating system version has been out for not too long, and here we are with word that the very first KitKat update is already in the pipeline, according to server logs that have appeared. This would bump up the version number to Android 4.4.1, and there is speculation going around that the Nexus 10’s issue of displaying the new translucent bars would be squashed with this update, in addition to the presence of some Nexus 5 bugs which require some solving.

The server logs do point to the Android 4.4.1 KitKat update which ran on the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, and Nexus 7, although the Nexus 10 was strangely missing on the list. Does this mean that we will soon see Android 4.4.1 KitKat running around on the likes of the HTC One Google Play Edition and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition?
