Well, it does seem as though there are whispers of XiaoMi rolling out an 8-core smartphone of their own, which will go up head to head against other kinds of smartphones which will also come with an 8-core processor on board. Touted to roll out after the HongMi, where the most recent HongMi addition will be based on MediaTek MT6589T quad-core processor, while the XiaoMi 8-core smartphone is said to be based on the MediaTek MT6592 8-core processor.
Right now, we do known that XiaoMi is not the only company with sights on an 8-core processor smartphone, but other players such as Lenovo, Oppo, Gionee and Vivo too, will be working on such a smartphone with the MediaTek MT6592 8-core processor.
