Windows Phone Scores Number 2 Spot In Latin America’s Mobile OS Market

The Windows Phone mobile operating system is not doing too well in the US, as it continues to struggle against the rest of the big boys, namely iOS and Android, but this does not mean it has thrown in the towel in the rest of the world, too. In fact, Windows Phone has made plenty of progress just south of the US – in particular, the entire continent of Latin America. According to Microsoft, Windows Phone happens to be the second most widely used mobile operating system throughout all of Latin America.

In fact, the mobile operating system managed to achieve an overall 12% growth in Latin America, making it the number two mobile OS in the countries of Mexico, Peru, and Columbia.
