LG Optimus Zone And Optimus Exceed On Sale By Verizon

Here we are with word that Verizon has a couple more Android-powered handsets for those who are on a tight budget – the LG Optimus Zone and the LG Optimus Exceed. The former might seem rather familiar to some, and that is because this is a wee upgraded model of the LG Optimus L3 E400 that was released last February, being an entry-level device with Android 2.3 Gingerbread in tow, costing you just $79.99 a pop without having to tie yourself down to any contract.

The LG Optimus Exceed too has an overall sense of familiarity, as it is a renamed LG Lucid. We are talking about the first generation Lucid device that was introduced worldwide last April, and it is going for $129.99 a pop sans contract by LG, where it is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, comes with a 4” WVGA display, 1GB RAM, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and a 5-megapixel camera at the back. Perfect starter handsets for those who have yet to own a phone.
