YouTube For Windows 8 Updated

Published

on

It seems that the Windows Phone 8 version of the official YouTube app has finally received an update, and this is no ordinary update since it has been deemed as a major one, where it has been completely redesigned in order to maximize the number of features found in the Windows Phone 8 mobile operating system. For those who happen to have a Windows Phone 8 device, you would want to keep a keen eye out for an update notification to appear on your handset.

There are plenty of new additions thrown into this major update, where you can now pin videos, playlists, channels, and even perform search queries to Start as Live Tiles for faster access. The tile will also be able to flip to show either the latest video from your subscriptions, or the most popular one. The presence of a new and innovative playlist design would pave the way for easy access to videos via a touch-friendly filmstrip, and there are tons others, so why not give it a go? Surely it won’t be as bugged as SimCity’s patches… [Press Release]
