On the 24th of April, 7am GMT, Nokia has an announcement that they would like to share with us. At this point in time, we’re not sure what the announcement could be about, but thanks to a teaser image uploaded by the Finnish company, it looks like it could be a QWERTY phone announcement. At the moment considering that Microsoft has laid out some strict specifications on what sort of hardware Windows Phone is allowed to have, it seems unlikely that this announcement could be about a Lumia handset. What this means is that the possibility that the announcement could be related to Nokia’s lineup of Asha feature phones is very likely. In fact based on what we can see in the teaser image, we are remind of Nokia’s attempts at QWERTY phones in the past, the Nokia E71 coming to mind.
