Is This The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus? [Rumor]

If history is anything to go by, we can expect Samsung to make some announcements at IFA taking place later this year, and previous reports have suggested that the South Korean company could be taking the wraps off the Galaxy Tab 3 and the Galaxy Note 3 at the event. Now thanks to the folks at SamMobile, they have received a couple of photos of a device that allegedly is that of the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus. Their tipper claims that the device will no longer be known as that, but will instead be rebranded to the Galaxy S Tab. Samsung is apparently taking advantage of the popularity of their Galaxy S lineup of Android smartphones, and will supposedly deploy the same marketing strategies for this device as well.

Upon first glance it looks a bit like the Galaxy Note 8.0, albeit with different placement of the home button. The alleged specs include Samsung’s new Exynos 5 Octa chipset, 2GB of RAM, a 10.055″ display with a resolution of 2560×1600 putting it at 300PPI, an 8MP camera capable of Full HD video capture, a 9,000mAh battery, and support for microSD. No word on which version of Android it will be running on. We’ll take this with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully more details will emerge in the future regarding the authenticity of these photos.
