We’ve been hearing about the HTC M4 for quite a while now, which supposedly is the non-Facebook Home version of the HTC First, a device whose specs are more mid-ranged rather than high-end. In any case a mysterious device by the name of the HTC 606W has been recently spotted in the Chinese phone database, and many had assumed that this would be the HTC M4. However the documents filed along with the device have revealed that unlike the HTC M4 which apparently will feature a dual-core processor and a 4.3″ display, the HTC 606W will instead sport a 1.2GHz quad-core chipset with a 4.5″ qHD display, ruling the HTC M4 out of the equation. Other specs of this mysterious handset includes 1GB of RAM – other features such as storage and Android version remain unknown. Either way we’ll keep an eye out for more information which hopefully will be revealed in the near future.
