Acer Liquid E2 Smartphone Goes Official

Published

Acer has never really been a brand name associated with smartphones, although they have tried in the past with several Android and Windows Phone handsets. In any case while most of them have been somewhat unremarkable, perhaps the company’s latest Liquid E2 smartphone might be worth checking out. The handset features a quad-core chipset which seems to be the norm these days, and while the phone lacks a Full HD display, it comes with a 4.5″ qHD display instead which we guess was used to help cut costs not just for Acer, but we guess for consumers as well. The Liquid E2 will come with the usual connectivity options and will pack a 2MP front-facing camera and an 8MP camera at the back which according to Acer, provides zero shutter delay meaning that your photo will be captured the moment you click it. Available in two options, the Acer Liquid E2 will come in a single SIM variant or a dual-SIM variant depending on your needs and will be available in Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, France, Spain, UK, Italy, Germany, and Russia and is expected to be made available in the middle of May starting at €229.
