Windows Phone 7.8 Update Build 8860 Could Fix Tile Bug

When Microsoft first rolled out the Windows Phone 7.8 update, it brought plenty of cheer to Windows Phone 7.5 users, but sometimes, a good thing ends up as an unwanted gift, as Windows Phone 7.8 brought along with it its fair share of issues, among them a far higher than normal data usage, in addition to unwanted behavior from the system’s live tiles. This led to Microsoft halting distribution of the update, which hopefully this lull would allow the team over at Microsoft to fix whatever issues that accompanied Windows Phone 7.8.

Well, it is the time for reckoning now, as there are reports going around that the latest Windows Phone 7.8 update is ready to be sent out to patient and loyal users, where it will be the distribution of build 8860. There has been no official changelog available to list down the entire slew of changes, so keep your fingers crossed that whatever needs to be fixed, such as the live tile issue, will be fixed, and we will no longer hear any grouses about it.
