It was just last month when LG announced the Optimus F5 at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona, Spain. Well, it seems that folks over at Verizon Wireless has already made up their mind to bring this mid-range handset to the masses, although they have decided to rebrand the smartphone by calling it the LG Lucid 2 instead of carrying the Optimus F5 name.

Just to recap, the LG Lucid 2 (let’s just call it this from now on) will feature a 4.3” qHD display at 256ppi pixel density, running on a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, accompanied by 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, a 5-megapixel and 3-megapixel camera at the back and in front, respectively, with Android 4.1.2 running on the Lucid 2 right out of the box. Expect the LG Lucid 2 to arrive on Verizon from next month onwards.
