Verizon Could Purchase Vodafone Stake In Verizon Wireless For $115 Billion

There are talks between two companies, Verizon and Vodafone, going on which hopes to see both of them resolve their current dispute, and we have word from the ground (anonymous sources, as usual), where Bloomberg cited that both carriers have disagreed where leadership matters are concerned, as well as where the new headquarters should be located. Well, it seems that both Verizon and Vodafone will need to come to a resolution in their relationship pretty soon, in this strained relationship within the jointly-owned carrier Verizon Wireless.

Either Verizon and Vodafone will have to merge, or the former will have to purchase Vodafone’s 45% stake in Verizon Wireless either fully or partly, before 2013 clocks out. This might potentially cost Verizon $115 billion for a total buyout, which is not a walk in the park, but at least it would bring things to an amicable resolution.
