T-Mobile Prism 2 Announced

Published

on

T-Mobile did offer up the Huawei-manufactured Prism in the past, in particular May last year, where that particular handset was described to be a highly affordable Android-powered smartphone, retailing for a mere $19.99 on contract, of course. Well, it seems that there is a sequel in the works – good stuff normally get sequels, and the Huawei Prism is no different, where it has been dubbed the Prism 2 alongside model number U8686.

What you see above are leaked images of the Huawei Prism 2, where it will come with a paltry screen resolution of 320 × 480 pixels to keep it in line with the rest of the entry-level perception, running on a 1GHz processor alongside Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean in tow. What you see here is made possible thanks to the Internet’s favorite Twitter news source for leaks, @evleaks. It definitely is nice to see a low-end smartphone with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in tow, considering how most of the other cheap devices run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich instead right out of the box.
